93 viewsThis is a Railroad King, 17j, grade 5S with 5th pinion, manufactured by the Illinois Watch Company in 1890, also a quick train movement. The movement is housed in a Gold Filled replacement open face case known as a sidewinder. This model was one of the early lever set watches marked adjusted on the plates. The dial is a replacement dial, as most Railroad King models have a dial marked as such. The watch has its original patented Chalmers regulator. The sn# 1064902.
